1. Business Development Manager Global Forwarding

Responsibilities :

  • Build Business development strategy based on company business strategy & expand the business scale with clients, seek new business in the freight forwarding industry to contribute to total revenue budget.
  • Research Market, make sale plan, use marketing tools, & manager tender progress & result.
  • Conduct visits & calls customers on a regular basis, seeks customer demand, & listens to customer opinions & requests.
  • Propose an efficient freight forwarding solution/proposal that meets the needs of the customer.
  • Manage costs – Negotiate with concerned parties & get more competitive rate.
  • Review contracts & manage the sales process efficiently.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
  • 5 years minimum sales experience in freight forwarding.
  • In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding industry products & services.
  • Demonstrated sales success & knowledge of sales concepts, methods, & techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in developing sales plans, analysing profitability of prospects, & the ability to understand the competitive influences & risks associated with individual accounts.
  • Ability to read, write & speak English.
  • Placement: Jakarta/Cikarang/Surabaya/Semarang

2. Sales Support

Responsibilities :

  • Take proactive steps to manage and nurture relationships with the customers in your assigned portfolio.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for communicating with the assigned customer and manage customer service level agreements, standard operating procedures (SOP), and contractual obligations.
  • Seek new opportunities and cultivate existing clients to increase volume and profits.
  • Collaborate with the account owner to gather information for further qualifying and developing the opportunity, and work closely with the operations teams.
  • Seek ways to enhance sales processes and performance in partnership with the operations teams.
  • Keep the manager informed about the progress of sales activities and any potential obstacles to achieving targets, provide monthly reports, and actively monitor client progress and report any issues.
  • Proactively handle client escalations, such as addressing shipment delays and resolving issues.
  • Ensure timely submission of quotations to clients.
  • Track and assess the performance of quotations.
  • Handling contract preparation and deal negotiations, making sure they comply with company standards.

Requirements :

  • 3+ years’ of relevant working experience within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Experience in dealing with customer inquiries.
  • Good negotiation skills and customer oriented.
  • Hands-on and good (tele)communication background with high degree of communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of both verbal and written English.
  • Strong team member and is outgoing and willing to learn, develop and grow.
  • Proactive and excellent at customer services.
  • Willing to take ownership of an opportunity or a problem to get to a quick and clear resolution.
  • Good problem solving skills, ability to find core issues and creatively address.
  • Proven expert in using MS Office.

3. Ocean Freight Supervisor

Responsibilities :

  • Managing Operations :
    • Overseeing the entire ocean freight forwarding operations, including shipping, receiving, and tracking of cargo.
    • Manage all ocean freight service operations to be efficient and effective to get customer satisfaction.
    • Direct ocean freight transportation department operation for the purpose of providing services with established time frame and in compliance with related customers’ requirements.
    • Forecasting and planning future cargo commitments and requirements.
    • Supervising the ocean freight team and ensuring all operations comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Negotiating Contracts and Customer Service :
    • Collaborating with freight carriers and shipping companies to negotiate contracts and rates.
    • Develop relationships with ocean carriers to maximize service and purchase competitiveness.
    • Develop/maintain Ocean freight business with good relationship with nomination customer.
    • Providing customer service and handling any issues or complaints related to ocean freight.
  • Coordinating Shipments :
    • Ensuring the proper loading and unloading of shipments, and that all procedures are followed.
    • Oversee the Ocean department to ensure that all aspects of Export & Import Cargo from booking, pick-up, logging, customer service and invoicing are performed as per company standards by
    • monitoring every shipment.
    • Developing and implementing logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize shipping routes and delivery times.
  • Compliance :
    • Maintaining knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures in the field of ocean freight transport.

Requirements :

  • Strong knowledge of global ocean freight forwarding operations.
  • Have good relationship with shipping company, coleader, and customer.
  • Team work with all division Sales, Custom Broker, Finance.
  • Proven expert in using MS Office.
  • Experiences in relevant industry: freight forwarding, ocean shipping, export-import.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.

4. Senior Ocean Staff

Responsibilities :

  • List in clear, concise statements what the duty is and how it is performed.
  • Ensure responsibilities for Total Quality Management. Occupational Health & Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity. Industrial Relations and other relevant policies and legislation are included.
  • Create draft Bill of Lading.
  • Check and monitoring actual vessel sailing (loading), second leg connecting, and ATD.
  • Update event in the system.
  • Issued invoice to agent and customer.
  • Request to finance for payment to shipping line.
  • Sending pre alert to overseas.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • Have ability to communicate in English written and verbal.
  • Experience min 3 years in handling import process in global ocean freight forwarding would be preferred.
  • Proven expert in using MS Office.
  • Reporting and analytical skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Compliance with SOP.
  • Efficiently manage shipping documentation and schedules.

5. Import Expeditor

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor the status of incoming import shipment and update relevant stakeholders on their progress.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or lost shipments.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, internal customers, and shipping companies.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with local and international laws and regulations, including customs regulations.
  • Self-initiative, problem-solving skills, and a result-driven attitude.
  • Review all necessary documentation, such as invoices, shipping documents, and customs declarations, etc.

Requirements :

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree, Supply Chain / Business Administration / Management /Engineering or related.
  • Experiences 2 years in Export Import; transportation, logistics, or a related field is preferable.
  • Familiarity with export laws, customs regulations, and trade agreements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willing to work in Cilegon.

6. Import Ocean Freight Staff

Responsibilities :

  • Shipment Coordination :
    • Plan and manage the logistics of ocean freight shipments.
    • Coordinate with shipping lines, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
    • Track and monitor shipments to ensure they are on schedule.
  • Documentation :
    • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
    • Ensure all documentation complies with international shipping regulations and company policies.
    • Update data on time in Cargo Wisel and meet KPI for documentation
    • Issue invoice to customer and booked vendor cost..
  • Customer Service :
    • Communicate with origin & clients from beginning of shipment, get schedule, departure until arrival in destination
    • Coordinate with Import team members or supervisor for any obstacles.
  • Compliance and Regulations :
    • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Ensure all operations comply with maritime regulations and safety standards.
  • Problem-Solving :
    • Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
    • Work with various stakeholders to find solutions to logistical challenges.
  • Cost Management :
    • Assisting to quote import local charges to origin.
    • Monitor and manage operational costs to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration :
    • Work closely with other departments, such as customs brokers and warehouse staff, to streamline operations.
    • Collaborate with team members to improve service levels and operational efficiency.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • Have ability to communicate in English written and verbal.
  • Experience min 1-2 years in handling import process in global ocean freight forwarding would be preferred.
  • Proven expert in using MS Office.
  • Reporting and analytical skills.
  • Efficiently manage shipping documentation and schedules.
